Each spacious four-metre canvas tent is prepared exclusively for one woman, with an individual twin bed and room to settle in, rest, journal, and recharge between retreat experiences.

Is prior experience required?
No. You don't need previous experience with yoga, meditation, embodiment, or ceremony. You don't need to arrive with a specific intention or something you want to "fix."
Is this therapy?
No. Shakti Awakening™ is a wellness, ceremonial and personal-development experience. It is not psychotherapy, medical care or a substitute for either.
How do I know if this is right for me?
Shakti Awakening™ may be right for you if you feel ready to slow down, reconnect with your body and inner knowing, explore your feminine nature, and spend meaningful time with yourself and other women.

Can I come alone?
Absolutely. You won't have to experience it alone.Many women join Shakti Awakening™ on their own.You don't need to know anyone before arriving. You'll be welcomed into a thoughtfully curated group of women, with opportunities to connect while still having space for your own experience.
Will I have to share personal experiences?
No. Sharing is always invitational. You are never required to disclose anything personal.
Is this a women´s sexual retreat?
No. Shakti Awakening™ is a feminine embodiment retreat. While sensuality, body awareness, feminine identity, and womb-centered practices may be explored, there is no expectation of sexual activity or sexual disclosure.
How do I get to the retreat location from the airport?
Private airport transfers can be arranged. You'll receive detailed arrival information after registration.
Can my dietary needs be accomodated?
Please share dietary restrictions or allergies during registration so the team can plan accordingly.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Yes. You don't need to pay for your retreat all at once.You can secure your place with a 30% payment upon enrollment, then divide the remaining balance into equal monthly payments according to your enrollment date.
Once your application is accepted and you choose your accommodation, you'll receive your personalized payment schedule.
All retreat balances must be paid in full by JANUARY 15th, 2027.
What is your cancellation and transfer policy?
We understand that life can sometimes change unexpectedly.
Your 30% initial deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your place, accommodation, and the arrangements we make on your behalf.
If you need to cancel before December 15th, 2026, any payments made beyond your initial 30% deposit may be refunded, less any non-recoverable costs or payment-processing fees already incurred on your behalf.
After December 15, 2026, payments become non-refundable as we enter the final preparation period and our commitments to accommodation, food, staff, and other retreat arrangements are fixed.If you can no longer attend after December 15, you may transfer your place to another woman, subject to approval by the Shakti Awakening team and provided she attends the same retreat dates. A $150 transfer fee applies, and any difference in accommodation cost or outstanding balance must be settled before the transfer is completed.
January 15, 2027 is the final payment deadline. All outstanding balances must be paid in full by this date.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes coverage for retreat cancellations and unexpected circumstances.
What should I expect from the jungle setting?
Casa Arkaana is an ecological, solar-powered sanctuary nestled within five acres of private Mayan jungle. A place to wake to the sounds of nature, move slowly, gather in ceremony, rest beneath the canopy, and create space away from everyday noise. Expect immersion in nature, warm tropical weather, insects and the sounds of the jungle. The retreat combines this natural setting with comfortable accommodations and intentional shared spaces like a ceremonial temple space and a cenote fed pool.
Will I receive the full itinerary before the retreat?
Yes. You'll receive a clear overview of the retreat's rhythm before booking, while the full detailed itinerary is shared with confirmed guests through the Shakti Awakening™ Tulum Welcome Guide. This includes daily timing, practices, meals, preparation, arrival information, and free time. Because the retreat is responsive to the group, the exact schedule may evolve while maintaining a thoughtful structure and plenty of space
What are the steps to join Shakti Awakening™ Tulum?
The process is simple and personal:
1. Submit your application:
Complete the short online application so I can learn a little about you, what is calling you toward the retreat, and your accommodation preference. It takes approximately 3–5 minutes.
2. Schedule your connection call:
After applying, you’ll be invited to book a short personal connection call with Akasha. We’ll meet, answer your questions, explore the retreat, and make sure it feels aligned for you.
3. Confirm your place:
Once we’ve connected and you’ve decided that Shakti Awakening™ feels right for you, we’ll confirm your participation and accommodation, subject to availability.
4. Review your payment plan & secure your reservation:
You’ll receive your personalized payment schedule, including the 30% deposit and remaining payments, so you know exactly what to expect. Once you’re ready, your place is secured with the 30% deposit.
5. Begin preparing for your journey:
Once your place is confirmed, you’ll receive the Shakti Awakening™ Welcome Guide with everything you need to prepare—including arrival information, transportation guidance, what to bring, retreat preparation, and other practical details.
